Steel core aluminum stranded wire(ACSR) is formed by twisting aluminum wire and steel wire, which is suitable for overhead transmission lines. It has a steel "core" inside, and the outside is wrapped around the steel core with aluminum wire by twisting; the steel core mainly increases the strength, and the aluminum stranded wire mainly functions to transmit electric energy;

Aluminium Conductor Steel Reinforced (ACSR) is concentrically stranded conductor with one or more layers of hard drawn 1350-H19 aluminium wire on galvanized steel wire core. The core can be single wire or stranded depending on the size. Steel core wire is available in Class A , B or Class C galvanization for corrosion protection. Additional corrosion protection is available through the application of grease to the core or infusion of the completed conductor with grease.

The ACSR has simple structure, convenient installation and maintenance, low line cost, large transmission capacity, and is conducive to the laying of special geographical conditions such as crossing rivers and valleys. It has good electrical conductivity and sufficient mechanical strength and high tensile strength. , The distance of the tower pole can be enlarged and so on. Therefore, it is widely used in overhead transmission and distribution lines of various voltage levels.

-1 up to 3 Layers Steel Wires as Core, 1 to 19 Steel Wires.
-Al/St 6/1, 7/1, 8/1, 12/7, 16/19, 18/1, 24/7, 26/7, 30/7, 30/19, 36/1, 54/7, 54/19, 72/7, 76/19, 84/19.
-Coating of zinc, Zn-5A1-MM, high-strength, Extra and Ultra available.
-Can-do both left-hand lay and right-hand lay.
