Arcing Horn

Lightning protection arcing horn is a kind of brand-new lightning protection devices, which well combines the lightning protection concept of blocking type and channeling type, that is, a pair of arcing horn in parallel at both ends of the conductor insulator strings to form the discharge gap, when the conductor is impacted by lightning, it can quickly introduce lightning current to the earth through the discharge gap and protect the insulator strings from breakdown; When lightning strikes the tower, it can quickly lead the lightning current to the discharge gap until the arc disappears to prevent flashover damage of the insulator string.

POWERCHINA Henan Electric Power Equipment Co., Ltd. covering an area of 84000 square meters was established in 1958 under the name of Luohe Iron Industry Association, during these period, the name of the company changed several times as follows: Luohe Iron Industry Association in 1965, Luohe Electric Equipment Material Factory in 1971, and was placed under the administration of the Electric Power Industry Bureau of Henan in 1976, Henan Electric Equipment Material Company in 2010 with the supervision of State Grid Cooperation of China, after reorganization, become subsidiary company of Power Construction Cooperation of China(POWERCHINA) in September 2011. In 2018, the company name has changed to POWERCHINA Henan Electric Power Equipment Co., Ltd.
